Memories Hoi An show is a large-scale real-time show, an incredible spectacle, an outdoor stage with a capacity of 3300 spectators. The stage setting combines mountains and rivers, the stage length of up to 1 km, using more than 500 actors. With the state-of-the-art sound and light technology, with the participation of international experts, you are invited along a 400-hundred-year journey of the town’s growth.
Memories Hoi An takes traditional Vietnamese Ao dai as the main language, using modern staging techniques to create specific contexts, advanced lighting technology and sound effects to tell the story of Hoi An more than four centuries ago with its bustle and grace.
Hoi An Memories is the key component of the Impression Theme Park, which celebrates Vietnam’s rich cultural history. The park has themed villages, complete with stunning pagodas and bridges. They play host to well-produced mini shows and informative workshops where guests learn all about Hoi An’s history as a vibrant trading port. The theme park is a large interactive show in itself. Easily enjoyed as the sole performance or as a pre-show warm-up before the main Hoi An Memories show.
Through a variety of elaborate storytelling with music, light, people, scenes, the show depicts the process of formation and development of Faifo – once known as the busiest port in Southeast Asia. Viewers can enjoy the successive stories of humanity, romance and full of temperament of local people.
The process of building a hamlet, opening an estate, building a life, integrating international culture in a trading port and preserving the beauty of the ancient town of Hoi An is depicted through 5 stages: revival, wedding, lights and the sea, integration and Ao dai.
